We re looking for a skilled SAP EWM Functional Consultant to lead enhancements in warehouse operations, with a focus on barcode scanning, putaway logic, and picking list optimization. This role will work closely with warehouse teams to streamline physical processes and ensure the SAP system reflects real-world workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Barcode Scanning Receiving Process Optimization

• Implement and enhance RF scanning processes for inbound receiving using handheld scanners.
• Improve the usability of scanner interface to align with real-time unloading sequence.
• Design logic to maintain a running tally of scanned SKUs and auto-compare against expected deliveries.
• Eliminate current reliance on handwritten receiving sheets and end-of-day desktop data entry.

1. Putaway Strategy Optimization

• Reconfigure system-directed putaway to reflect actual bin capacity and warehouse layout.
• Remove unnecessary restrictions and improve binning logic to minimize redundant tire handling.
• Align system calculations with real-world storage capabilities to reduce exceptions and improve accuracy.

1. Picking List Enhancements

• Redesign picking list output to consolidate SKUs and reduce total page count.
• Improve picking efficiency by ensuring SKUs are grouped logically by location.
• Support warehouse staff with streamlined documentation to reduce pick time and movement.

Requirements:

• 10yrs SAP EWM Functional Consultant, manufacturing or distribution.
• Strong hands-on RF integration, putaway strategies, and warehouse process design.
• Familiarity with SAP EWM RF Framework, layout-oriented storage control, and customizing putaway/picking logic.
• Ability to translate warehouse operations into SAP configurations and functional specs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
