Senior Cloud Security Advisor / Engineering Background / PA Hybrid Only

This well-known financial institution is looking for a Senior Cloud Security Advisor to join their sophisticated team. This person must come from a highly technical background and want to move into an assurance/advisory role. The day-to-day responsibilities will not be hands-on keyboard, but will function as an internal consultant to the engineers. This person will be writing detection rules and advise clients on what cloud security posture management tool would work best, in addition to advising product owners on mitigation strategies and best practices.

This is an excellent role for a cloud security engineer who wants to move away from true engineering and more into internal consulting/advisory. This is a full-time permanent position, and it's hybrid in Paoli PA, so only local candidates will be considered.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 years of professional experience in cyber security engineering, with an emphasis on cloud security
• AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform all acceptable

Highly technical cloud security background

CSPM tools (Wiz or others)

Strong understanding of vulnerability management

Automation skills (Python preferred)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and autoscaling
