Job Details

Piper Companies is seeking a Disaster Recovery Project Manager to join an established healthcare network in the Pennsylvania area. The role is remote and it a 12 month contract opportunity with potential to convert.

Responsibilities of the DR Project Manager include:
  • Developing and managing the master project plan for the ITDR program, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.
  • Leading coordination efforts across IT, business units, and external partners to ensure successful program execution.
  • Tracking and managing issues, risks, dependencies, and escalations.
  • Serving as the primary liaison with the external partner responsible for ITDR assessment, solution design, and implementation.
  • Providing routine status reporting to IT and business leadership, including risk assessments and progress updates.

Qualifications of the DR Project Manager include:
  • Experience leading IT disaster recovery or business continuity programs, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience managing large-scale, cross-functional technology initiatives.
  • Expertise in vendor and partner management, ensuring successful collaboration and delivery.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and NIST frameworks related to disaster recovery.
  • Proficiency in risk management, issue tracking, and executive-level reporting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and drive decision-making.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Continuity, or a related field (preferred).
  • Industry certifications (e.g., CBCP, CISM, PMP) are a plus.

Compensation for the DR Project Manager include:
  • Rate: $65-78 an hour, depending on experience
