Job Details
A Mountain View based consulting firm with a reputation for excellence and being an umbrella solution for problems engineers encounter while designing electronics and designing silicon chips is looking for a Senior Linux Security Specialist. You will collaborate closely with our engineering teams to identify vulnerabilities, develop remediation strategies, and ensure that our infrastructure remains secure and compliant with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Linux security and a proven track record of securing complex systems in diverse environments.
You would be working with a company fully remote where you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security measures and policies in both on-premises and cloud-based Linux environments. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of Linux systems, identifying areas of improvement, and collaborating with other teams to maintain a secure environment across all layers of the stack.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5-8+ years of experience managing and securing Linux-based systems in both on-prem and cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of Linux security tools, best practices, and frameworks.
- Proven experience in vulnerability management and remediation.
- Ability to conduct in-depth security reviews and work with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure security.
- Security certifications with CISSP or CISPA
- Previous experience working with scalability of servers
- Ansible experience
