Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the assigned Sales organization and customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation.\n\nThe work model for the role is hybrid.\n\nThis role is contributing to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics division.\n\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\n \tOffering technical advice and solutions on inquiries from customers/channels/Sales Specialists about ABB products/systems/applications.\n \tPerforming analytic and diagnostic studies to determine the optimal technical solution to meet customer needs and address complex inquiries.\n \tDeveloping and maintaining new sales opportunities and resolving specific customer problems; and ensuring achievement of targets on orders, Net Price Variance (NPV), and Net Promoter Score (NPS).\n \tEnsuring the achievement of budget goals, including volume targets and profitable growth, across all assigned product groups and in the respective countries.\n\nOur team dynamics\nYou will join a {insert adjectives - e.g. dynamic, talented, high performing} team, where you will be able to thrive.
Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree in Analyzer, Chemical or Instrumentation Engineering, or a similar field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in preparing bids and tenders, working as proposal or inside sales with analyzers and systems integration preferred.
• Knowledge of process analyzers and systems integration.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach with strong written and spoken communication skills but also able to work independently and under pressure
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
