Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance & Operations (M&O) Manager to support the successful transition of the Idaho MMIS System Integration (SI) Hub from implementation to steady-state operations. This role will begin in the latter phases of the project and will ensure that systems, processes, and infrastructure are fully integrated and operationally sound for long-term sustainability. The M&O Manager will be responsible for standing up and overseeing ongoing operations support, coordinating across IDHW teams, module vendors, and technical staff to establish reliable, secure, and efficient system maintenance processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the transition from system implementation to maintenance and operations for the MMIS SI Hub
  • Ensure the seamless integration of system components, infrastructure, and processes to support ongoing performance, monitoring, and updates
  • Coordinate with IDHW and vendor stakeholders to develop and manage M&O procedures, tools, and documentation
  • Oversee incident management, service requests, system updates, and performance monitoring
  • Ensure systems are aligned with CMS modularity requirements and state/federal compliance
  • Support knowledge transfer and training to IDHW personnel for ongoing operational continuity

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in systems integration, software development methodologies, IT infrastructure, and database management
  • Strong understanding of system operations, monitoring, and maintenance best practices
  • Proven experience working in IT with some management or team leadership responsibilities
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams

Preferred:

  • Experience working within state Medicaid programs and familiarity with Medicaid M&O processes and expectations
  • Background in large-scale healthcare or government IT systems
  • Experience with transition planning and operational readiness assessments
  • Understanding of CMS compliance and reporting requirements for MMIS platforms
