    • Communicate with end-users via phone, email, and remote diagnostics to address, replicate, and resolve reported issues.
  • Network & Telecommunications Support:

    • Collaborate with the Telecommunications (TCOM) team to maintain and enhance field network infrastructure, including Well Pad Business Communications and hardware replacements.
    • Troubleshoot complex network issues using peer-to-peer communication analysis and packet captures.
    • Plan and implement network changes, ensuring minimal impact on Oil & Gas operations.
    • Assist in monitoring and reporting network performance metrics to BU Operations and IT leadership.
  • Process Control Support:

    • Work with the IT Automation team to manage Process Control Networks (PCN), ensuring uninterrupted production by maintaining connectivity.
    • Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of process control systems at production facilities.
  • Wireless Technology Support:

    • Provide hands-on support for various wireless technologies, including microwave communication (point-to-point and point-to-multipoint), Wi-Fi (802.11), land mobile radio systems (LMR), and SCADA systems (RTUs, PLCs, data collectors).
    • Coordinate with contractors for site visits and issue resolution.
  • Inventory & Vendor Management:

    • Track IT hardware inventory and collaborate with vendors to maintain and expand network cabling as needed.
  • Project Participation:

    • Contribute to testing, documentation, and implementation of IT-related projects.

Qualifications

  • Experience:

    • 3 5 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure operations or similar roles.
    • Experience with Oil & Gas operations is an asset but not mandatory.
  • Technical Skills:
