Description of Duties:

The DevSecOps Lead supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:

Design, implement, troubleshoot, and build a DevSecOps pipeline from inception to operation.

Specialize in the administration and operations of an environment and performs cybersecurity compliance, operational sustainment, and other general IT tasks as needed to ensure continuous performance.

Train customer and stakeholders on the use of DevSecOps applications and tools.

Design, build, troubleshoot, maintain, operate, and provide customer support for GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.

Effectively communicate and coordinate with stakeholders on a regular basis.

Design, implement, troubleshoot, operate and provide customer support for platform applications.

Write code to automate implementation and configuration of IT assets (infrastructure, software, configurations, etc.).

Attend multiple engineering and architecture meetings and serve as technical expert on multiple IT domains related to DevSecOps projects.

Download and install critical patches on systems in accordance with MDA rules and guidelines.

Track resource utilization and performance of systems.

Perform modifications and upgrades as needed.

Perform software testing duties as required.

Basic Requirements:

Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 12 years of general experience; Associate's degree and 10 years of general experience; Bachelor's degree and 8 years of general experience; Master's degree and 6 years of general experience.

Must have 7 years of related experience in one or more of the following: software developer, application integration specialist, or in fields related to enterprise application integration (EAI) experience and/or specific business domain experience

Must have a current DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+ CE Certification)

Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Must have DevSecOps process experience

Desired Requirements:

Have experience in writing Ansible and automations scripts

Have experience with GitLab /JIRA

Have experience with developer and coding tools

Have experience with Remedy Incident and Change Management

Have experience with networking, cyber security and automation

Have experience with PowerShell, JSON, Shell, C/C++ and Java

This position is expected to pay $123,000 - $148,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
