RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a BSA/Technical Writer in Miami, FL.
Overview:
This individual will be working in the building department for the clients permitting and licensing software's. These are large systems that only have documentation of the business rules, but there is no documentation for the backend technology. They will need someone who understands the business rules and can work together with the developers to decipher the backend code and create documentation, so they have something to reference whenever they need to make a change on the backend or configure and integrate new systems into this big system.
This role will be purely documentation, but they have to have both technical background and experience working with the business and understanding how business requirements and business roles are put together. This individual must have been part of IT, not sitting on the business side, but on the IT side, working very closely with developers. Sometimes this role is called a technical writer or a business system analyst.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must understand:
* Configuration and code changes
* Business rules
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions.
