Sr. .NET Full stack Developer

  • Long term Contract with Potential for Hire
  • REMOTE
  • Need to be LOCAL to Chicago / suburbs area
  • 2 rounds of interview. 2nd round will be in person

Senior .NET Full Stack developer will be responsible for building .NET applications using .NET Core. .NET 6 or 6+ (Required).

Primary responsibility will be to develop applications and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential. The developer will carry out solution development tasks and participate in the daily maintenance of the business systems including the investigation of errors, corrections of functionality or restoration of database integrity. The developer will be working in a highly collaborative environment where they will be working closely with the Business Analyst (BA), Project Manager (PM), and Dev Lead to prioritize requirements for that sprint.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or minimum of 5-10 years work experience.
  • 5+ years as a programmer, deep Microsoft platform skills, full software development life-cycle experience on enterprise-class, scalable applications, a full stack developer, with ability to design, and develop back-end/server and modern front-end frameworks (React or Angular)
  • 5+ years of demonstrated strong knowledge and proficiency in the following: .NET Framework, C#, , Core, Unit tests QA and testing procedures, Entity Framework, Dapper, SQL Server, HTML 5, JavaScript, JavaScript Frameworks, CSS, WCF, MVC.
  • 5+ years of ASP.Net Web API, Web Service development, testing and deployment.
  • 5+ years demonstrated strong knowledge and proficiency in the following development methodologies:
  • Solid principles of Object-Oriented Design
  • Component based development
  • Agile development methodologies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex integrations and use the necessary tools to find a solution.
  • Ability to explain why a solution will work and a proven track record of previous success in delivering scalable and complex code, integrations, and web applications.
  • Excellent communication, both written and spoken English, with both technical and not-so-technical people.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate requirements and use cases into functional applications
  • Design, build, test and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
  • Ensure that all applications well documented, thoroughly tested and debugged, and adhere to corporate and industry standards.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry standards and incorporate them appropriately.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

The anticipated hourly rate range for this position is ($70-$75). Actual hourly rate will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
