Responsibilities:
- Support the design, fabrication, testing, and troubleshooting of prototype electro-mechanical systems and specialized equipment to advance mission-critical defense technologies.
- Assist with the design, testing, modification, and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems, experimental circuits, laser/light devices, and specialized test equipment.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings, diagrams, and schematics.
- Build, calibrate, troubleshoot, and adjust tools, equipment, and systems.
- Conduct, analyze, and document experiments to define process parameters and recommend improvements.
- Implement solutions for process improvements and document results.
- Design and construct custom tooling and fixtures to support unique tasks.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and recommend resolutions.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a relevant technical role.
- Proficiency with fabrication tools and ability to build complex hardware.
- Strong knowledge of technical theory and hands-on engineering processes
