Description

We are looking for a skilled Technology Support Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Farmington, Connecticut. In this role, you will provide high-quality technical support, ensuring the seamless operation of Apple devices and desktop systems. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate within the construction industry while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for Apple devices and desktop systems.
Manage hardware and software installations, updates, and configurations.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and resolutions.
Collaborate with team members to improve support processes and user experience.
Ensure compliance with organizational standards and security policies.
Offer guidance and training to users on device functionality and best practices.
Monitor system performance and recommend improvements as necessary.

Requirements

Proven experience in desktop support, with a strong focus on Apple devices.
Solid understanding of hardware and software troubleshooting techniques.
Familiarity with operating systems, network configurations, and security protocols.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Relevant certifications are a plus, but not required.
