Software Developer

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and services. This role will focus heavily on backend development using Python and Java while supporting emerging AI-driven development initiatives.
The ideal candidate has approximately 3+ years of software development experience and has recent exposure to AI-assisted software development tools and frameworks such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex (CodeX), GitHub Copilot, or similar AI coding platforms. While extensive AI experience is not required, candidates should have experience leveraging AI tools within development projects and workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend applications and APIs.


• Build and maintain enterprise-grade solutions using Python and Java.


• Develop and optimize integrations between applications, services, and databases.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.


• Leverage AI-powered development tools to improve development efficiency and code quality.


• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.


• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the application stack.


• Implement software development best practices, including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes.


• Support the exploration and implementation of AI-related development frameworks and tools.


• Document technical designs, processes, and development standards.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.


• 3+ years of professional software development experience.


• Proficiency in Python and Java for backend and application development.


• Experience with Azure DevOps and Git for source control, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.


• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.


• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.


• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and development best practices.


• Experience working in Agile development environments.


• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.


• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as:




• Claude Code


• OpenAI Codex (CodeX)




• Experience participating in projects that leveraged AI-driven development capabilities.


• Exposure to Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar AI integration frameworks.


• Experience building, configuring, or integrating MCP-based solutions or AI-tailored development workflows.


• Familiarity with large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and AI application development concepts.


• Experience developing AI-enabled backend services, integrations, or automation solutions.


• Experience designing and building agentic workflows - multi-step, tool-using AI agents that autonomously execute tasks end-to-end.
