Stanford's University Information Technology (UIT) organization services diverse clients from various business units and schools to deliver world-class technological solutions. We are a hub of system analysts, developers, testers, and architects who design, build, and enhance applications to support the core functions of the University.
We are looking for a passionate Oracle Fusion Developer to join our Financials Systems, Middleware, and Technology (FSMT) group in Enterprise Technology (ET) within University IT. Our team is responsible for the implementation support of Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud (General Ledger, Payables, Cash Management) and Procurement Cloud (Supplier Qualification Management). We are also responsible for checking and enhancing the real-time integrations of these "Software as a Service" (SAAS) solutions with Oracle E-Business Suite and custom applications developed internally at Stanford. Our team handles the support, maintenance, operations, and upgrades of various Oracle E-Business Suite applications (iProcurement, Purchasing, Payables, iExpense, iSupplier, Receivables, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Property Manager), and other applications built in-house. Some of the development toolkits we use are Oracle Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), API Gateway, Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle Application Express (APEX), and Oracle Applications Framework (OAF) platforms. We also support custom applications integration with other Oracle Financials Systems and Enterprise Data Warehousing.
This position requires a good combination of functional and technical knowledge of the Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud/Procurement Cloud and proficiency in the Oracle Integration Cloud platform and data integrators. A successful candidate will have shown a track record of designing and developing enterprise application systems that are secure, reliable, and scalable. The candidate should have experience in performing production support activities including, but not limited to, maintaining system configurations, data cleanup, developing custom code, testing, filing/resolving service requests, and estimating enhancements.

The expected pay range for this position is $102,000 - 160,000 per annum.

Core Duties:
- Conceptualize design, implement, and configure Fusion cloud solutions
- Develop integration solutions for sophisticated system/program interfaces independently.
- Work with a variety of users to gain information, and develop intra-system tradeoffs between different users, as needed; interact with a diverse client base.
- Document system builds and application configurations; maintain and update documentation as needed.
- Provide technical analysis, design, development, conversion, and unit testing support.
- Compare, evaluate, and implement new features and technologies, and integrate them into the on-prem environment.
- Follow team software development methodology around Change Control, Code Review, and Change Management
- Develop custom reports to meet reporting and analysis needs.
- Partner with business management to define the appropriate technical solutions
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, and seven years of relevant experience or a combination of education and relevant experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and programming tools.
- Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications.
- Strong understanding of data design, architecture, relational databases, and data modeling.
- Thorough understanding of all aspects of software development life cycle and quality control practices.
- Ability to define and resolve logical problems for highly technical applications.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to communicate effectively with individuals of varying systems expertise and business needs.
- Demonstrated experience leading activities on structured team development projects.
- Ability to select, adapt, and effectively use a variety of programming methods.
- Ability to recognize and recommend needed changes in user and/or operations procedures.
Relevant Work Experience:
- Minimum 5 or more years of experience in implementing Fusion Financials cloud (General Ledger, Payables, Cash Management) or Procurement (Supply Chain) cloud or HCM Cloud.
- Proficiency in building web service integrations (Oracle REST APIs) using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or other integration platforms.
- Proficiency in structured programming related to Oracle SQL, PLSQL for developing conversions and interfaces
- Expertise in File Based Data Import (FBDI), ADF Desktop Integrator (ADFdi) and BPM Workflow
- Proficiency in building custom applications in PAAS using Oracle Application Express or Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Services
- Experience with one or more reporting tools like Business Intelligence Cloud Connector (BICC), Oracle Transaction Business Intelligence (OTBI), Fusion Reporting Studio, or Fusion Analytics Warehouse is preferred.
- Experience configuring setups, personalizations in the sandbox and migrating to the production environment.
- Expertise in technical data analysis, including data conversion and data mapping for integration requirements.
- Certification on Fusion Cloud is a plus.
- Passion for working with end users to understand their needs and improve their end-user experience.
