A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE

Our exciting and entrepreneurial culture will allow you to think creatively, solve problems and meet the needs of our clients daily. A typical day might include the following:
  • Performing design calculations and preparing plans on diverse structural projects across the state and out of state offices.
  • Contribute to a variety of Transportation projects including high profile interstate corridors,multi discipline arterial projects for State and local government projects, along with supporting other LJA sectors such as Land Development, Rail, and Energy.
  • Learning/Teaching in a peer-setting.
  • Gaining key experience working directly with professional engineers.
  • Developing/using advanced techniques, theory, precepts, and practices.
  • Interact with clients and other consultants.
  • Team lunches/breakfasts and social activities
  • Attending Civil/Structural seminars and conferences

"MUST HAVE" QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor of Science Degree, Civil Engineering

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE
  • Course work with a structural emphasis
  • Experience with MicroStation ORD and/or Open Bridge
  • Experience with AutoCAD
  • Experience with other Structural Design Software such as STAAD, Enercalc, etc.
  • Previous work experience in an AEC related firm
  • Passed the FE Exam
  • Strong communication skills
  • Team Mentality
