RESPONSIBILITIES:

Overview:
The Technical Project Manager will work closely with engineering teams, requiring a solid understanding of technical concepts to effectively communicate and extract information. This role demands flexibility, a hands-on approach, and the ability to adapt to varying project management methodologies, primarily Agile.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with engineering teams to understand technical requirements and ensure smooth project execution
* Jump in and support the team wherever needed, including taking notes, scheduling meetings, and handling administrative tasks
* Adapt project management style to the dynamic and sometimes ambiguous environment, utilizing tools like Jira for tracking
* Manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables, presenting updates to stakeholders
* Develop and manage project budgets, including TCO analyses and financial planning
* Create templates, frameworks, and processes for teams to leverage
* Foster a hybrid Agile approach within the M&E team, balancing Agile and Waterfall methodologies as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, managing both software development and infrastructure projects
* Proven ability to manage 5-8 projects concurrently
* Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional technical and product teams
* Experience developing and managing project budgets, including creating TCO analyses and ensuring adherence to financial constraints
* Experience thriving in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
* Proven ability to create templates, frameworks, and processes for teams to leverage
* Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Airtable, Jira, or Wrike
* Strong experience managing project scope, timelines, and deliverables, and presenting to stakeholders
* Proficiency in creating visuals for stakeholder presentations using Keynote, PowerPoint, Excel, or similar tools
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
* Proactive and adaptable, with a willingness to jump in and support the team wherever needed
* This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills:
* Experience in the entertainment and media industry
* Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
* Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
* Experience with projects related to servers and storage
* Experience with budget management and financial reporting
* Experience working with tech stacks such as Synology, GB Labs, Quantum, Qumulo
* Knowledge of M&E workflows and processes
* Ability to work with engineering teams who may not fully understand the need for tracking and project management within an environment with competing priorities and deadlines
* Strong interpersonal skills to navigate being one of the only PMs on the team
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
