Location: Remote (Occasional travel to client site for meetings)

Salary Range: $100k - $110k

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced UI Designer with an active Top Secret clearance to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user interface design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to create intuitive, user-friendly designs. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure our digital products are visually appealing and provide an exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Collaborate with UX designers, developers, and stakeholders to implement design solutions.
• Ensure designs adhere to brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and improve designs.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.
• Present design concepts and iterate based on feedback from team members and clients.

Technical Requirements:

• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Sketch, Figma, or similar.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and frameworks.
• Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
• Ability to create interactive prototypes using tools like InVision, Axure, or similar.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508 and WCAG) and best practices.
• Experience with Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in UI design or a similar role.
• Demonstrated experience designing for web and mobile platforms.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and your design process.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
