A bit about us:
We are a growing US-based startup company on a mission to help developers build chains in the metaverse. We are building an open-source protocol that will allow crypto-based applications to deliver at the scale they need to as the metaverse expands.
Currently, we are looking for individuals who are passionate and experienced in the blockchain industry. As a Protocol Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, documenting, and implementing quality backend architectures built using Golang, CosmosSDK, and CometBFT.

Responsibilities:
As a Senior Protocol Engineer, you will be responsible for:
1. Designing, implementing, and maintaining protocols for distributed and blockchain systems.
2. Working closely with the development team to build and maintain a highly scalable and robust blockchain infrastructure.
3. Developing smart contracts on Ethereum and other blockchain platforms.
4. Collaborating with a team of engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
5. Using GoLang, CosmosSDK, CometBFT for protocol development and implementation.
6. Troubleshooting and resolving issues in our development, test, and production environments.
7. Ensuring system consistency and improving the performance and availability of our systems.
8. Participating in code reviews, design discussions, and providing input on architectural decisions.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role should have the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in protocol engineering, with a focus on blockchain and distributed systems.
3. Proficiency in GoLang
4. Experience with distributed systems and blockchain systems (Cosmos and Ethereum).
5. Strong knowledge of the blockchain industry, including the Ethereum platform and smart contracts.
6. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. Experience leveraging CosmosSDK, CometBFT, Ethermint, IBC
11. Experience with Kubernetes and AWS a nice to have
