The Challenge
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Architect with a specialized focus on Information Security within the realms of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). In this pivotal role, you will ensure that security is deeply integrated into every business or IT initiative involving AI and ML technologies. As a key member of our Global Information Security Team, your responsibilities will include identifying and mitigating security risks associated with AI/ML projects, developing robust security frameworks, and advocating for security measures that are seamlessly woven into the entire lifecycle of our AI/ML products.
Your expertise will be instrumental in safeguarding our advanced AI/ML systems against emerging threats. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of security-first thinking and ensure that security considerations are an integral part of all our business and IT initiatives.
Roles & Responsibilities
Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for AI/ML systems and related business or IT initiatives, identifying vulnerabilities and developing effective mitigation strategies.
AI/ML Security Strategy: Develop and implement security strategies specifically tailored to AI/ML projects, ensuring robust protection against AI-specific threats.
Security Framework Development: Create and maintain security frameworks and best practices for the development and deployment of AI/ML models.
Incident Response: Collaborate with Security Operations to develop and implement incident response protocols for AI/ML security incidents.
Research and Innovation: Stay current with the latest trends and threats in AI/ML security, incorporating innovative solutions into our security infrastructure.
Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with IT and AI/ML development teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle and promote a security-aware culture.
Training and Knowledge Sharing: Provide expert guidance and training on AI/ML security best practices to team members.
Compliance and Standards: Ensure AI/ML initiatives comply with relevant data protection and privacy regulations.
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, AI/ML, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Experience:
8+ years in information security and IT risk management, with a focus on security architecture.
5+ years in network, application, or infrastructure security, including technical, compliance, and leadership roles.
5+ years of experience with cloud security infrastructure, particularly in AWS and Microsoft Azure.
Proven experience securing complex AI/ML models, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and deep learning architectures.
Familiarity with data protection and privacy laws relevant to AI/ML.
Experience in the Pharma/Biotech industry is a strong advantage.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, AI/ML-specific certifications) are a plus.
Experience working in a multinational organization and virtual teams.
Skills:
Ability to evaluate and address security vulnerabilities in AI/ML models and their deployment environments.
Expertise in designing secure architectures for AI/ML development and deployment.
Ability to integrate security principles into the AI/ML lifecycle.
Strong collaboration skills to bridge the gap between security and AI/ML teams.
Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Solid understanding of current and emerging cybersecurity and privacy regulations.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
