Responsibilities
Position Focus: Leading the Quality Assurance initiatives, Certs & Audits, Final Inspection, Receiving Inspection, and Calibration, Lead Quality team
Develops and initiates methods and procedures for inspection, testing and evaluation
Devises sampling procedures supervises the design of forms for recording quality checks and preparation of instructions for these procedures
May conduct training programs and write training manuals on quality control activities
Provide technical guidance and leadership for GD&T and SPC implementation and interpretation
Maintains charts, graphs, and statistical records having to do with quality, nature and causes of defects
Works with Engineering Department to define and document inspection and test processes
Interfaces with customers and quality representatives
Lead, manage and drive continuous quality improvement efforts throughout the organization in improving the manufacturing product and processes

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong commitment to quality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position is integral to ensuring the smooth and efficient production of our high-quality products.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Polisher (Hand Finish + Deburr), you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process. Your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Using hand tools and equipment to perform finishing operations, such as grinding, polishing, and deburring on a variety of materials.
2. Inspecting and measuring finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications.
3. Detecting and reporting any defective products or materials to the supervisor.
4. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
5. Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
6. Collaborating with other team members to improve production methods and meet production goals.
7. Keeping accurate records of work performed, materials used, and production outcomes.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment for finishing operations.
3. Strong knowledge of materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods.
4. Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
5. The ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and written instructions.
6. Good physical condition and endurance, as the role involves standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects.
7. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
9. High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in a related field is a plus.

- Experience with ISO9001 Quality Standards
- Ability to read blueprints and specs.
- Must have excellent communication skills both written and oral.
