Overview:

We are seeking an Appian Developer who will support our client. The selected candidate will be part of a team working to develop a modern Case Management System (CMS) that is user-friendly to perform, manage, and integrate daily workflow processes and data systems. The Appian Developer must be experienced in designing and developing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) cloud-based delivery models where applications and data are hosted, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the applications using the platform. This CMS should enhance effectiveness by streamlining processes and ensuring data security.

Duties:

  • Work with the team to design and develop a modern Case Management System using Appian's low-code platform, adhering to business requirements and ensuring functionality aligns with the project goals.

  • Create and maintain process models, user interfaces, and data structures for efficient business workflows and automation

  • Configure process flows, forms, and reports for end users.

  • Integrate Appian applications with external systems (e.g., databases, APIs, third-party services) using Appian's integration capabilities and configure integrations with different systems like REST, SOAP web services, and databases for seamless data flow.

  • Troubleshoot and provide support to users and stakeholders to reduce errors, optimize performance, and conduct root cause analysis on any issues.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that the product meets project goals and objectives.

  • Ensure security and compliance with all company and regulatory security standards

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience designing and developing SaaS cloud-based delivery models to securely host applications and data.

  • 3+ years of experience designing and developing process applications using Appian's low-code platform

  • Experience creating and maintaining process modules, user interfaces, and data structures for efficient business workflows and automation.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience configuring process flows, forms, and reports for end users

  • Experience integrating Appian applications with external systems (e.g., databases, APIs, third-party services)

  • Experience configuring integrations with different systems like REST, SOAP web services, and databases for seamless data flow.

  • Experience collaborating with users and stakeholders to identify and resolve issues related to the application or platform.

  • Experience troubleshooting errors, optimizing performance, and conducting root cause analysis

  • Experience with optimizing code for performance, scalability, and maintainability

  • Familiarity with implementing access controls and data protection protocols. Up to date on current data security protocols and best practices.

  • Experience with the Appian platform, using features such as Process Models, SAIL, Appian Designer, and Appian Expressions

  • Experience with JavaScript, SQL, etc.

  • Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, and web service integration

  • Familiarity with cloud hosting environments (AWS, Azure, DevOps, ETC)

  • Experience with government.
