Your role in our mission
- Lead component design for the Essette web application as well as greenfield application and service design for the broader Essette capability suite
- Conduct exploratory development; design and build prototypes and POCs to be handed off to the Essette application development teams
- Work directly with application development team leads and developers to ensure development choices are made in alignment with architectural vision
- Help train and assist development teams with chosen technologies and best practices
- Evaluate new software practices, technologies, tools and libraries to determine how they may be used to improve future development
What we're looking for
- 8+ years of hands-on software development experience, including 4+ years in architecture and 3+ years with modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular/React).
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, UX design, C#/.NET, REST API design, and greenfield application development.
- Experience promoting software engineering best practices (code standards, reviews, testing, Agile).
- Knowledge of software development trends, including languages, architectures, security, and infrastructure.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into development specs, and effectively collaborate in a team.
