Oracle Business Systems Analyst (Oracle EBS)

Collinwood is assisting our client, a fast-growing global manufacturer of highly engineered sensing, control, and sealing components, in their efforts to bolster hire an experienced Oracle (EBS) Business Analyst.

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Business System Analyst who will work with other Business Systems Analysts to create high-quality Oracle applications and solutions per our customers' requirements. What you will be doing:

• Analyze required business process improvements and assist with required change management practices to facilitate the necessary business process changes to meet the future state designs.
• Assist with gap identification, gap prioritization, and gap solution design efforts after business requirements gathering and initial systems configuration and systems walkthrough with key business members.
• Write all functional design documents that details any customizations/extensions that delivers the functional solution to solve the business requirement.
• Collaborate with technical resources to plan and develop system flows.
• Develop and implement comprehensive test plans to ensure that systems and programs are tested and debugged.
• Create functional tests of systems configurations and extensions/customizations delivered from the IT development team.
• Write or help write solution design and critical control measures (i.e. roles and responsibilities of an ERP/Route Accounting System).
• Collaborate with change management to construct user documentation; providing help desk support; train users.
• Participate in code reviews and quality assurance procedures and provide technical expertise to business users of our application.

What we need from you:

• 5+ years of experience in Oracle development or software development roles.
• Experience with the current Oracle EBS offerings and related products.
• Proficiency in Oracle tools and technologies, including SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle EBS, with expertise in modules such as GL, AP, AR, FA, CM.
• Ability to create business process flow and functional specifications/user stories.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to debug/triage the system for certain behavior of the features and explain it to the users.
• Strong background in business, either through work experience, entrepreneurship, or college.
• Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, and other programming languages.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Quick problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with Oracle Application Express (APEX).
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
