Job Details

AAC is seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Solutions Architect with a robust technical background in cloud computing, cybersecurity, and IT/network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and supporting innovative technology solutions for federal DoD and Civilian government clients. This individual will act as a technical lead, bridging the gap between client needs and technical delivery teams, ensuring mission success through secure, scalable, and efficient systems.

Eligibility for a Secret clearance is required.

This role follows a hybrid work model, combining remote work with occasional in-office days. Candidates should be prepared to commute to the Tysons Corner, VA office as needed for team collaboration, meetings, or other on-site activities.

Strategic problem-solving and analytical thinking.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to balance technical depth with business acumen.

Occasional travel to client sites may be required.

Strong understanding of Agile and DevSecOps methodologies.

Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.

Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, or similar).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proposal writing and technical presentations.

Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver projects on time and within scope.

Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 20000, ISO 27001, CMMC & CMMI

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

7+ years of experience in IT architecture, system engineering, design, and implementation within the federal government.

Experience supporting federal DoD and Civilian government programs and clients.

Proven track record in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and hybrid environments.

Demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity standards (e.g., NIST 800-53, FISMA, FedRAMP), frameworks, tools, and methodologies

Demonstrable experience developing and defending technical proposal solutions and content, Level of Effort (LOE), and Bill of Materials (BOM).

Comprehensive background in IT and network architecture technologies, solutions, and operations, including:

o Network Engineering and Operations.

o System Engineering and Administration

o Cloud Architecture, Migrations & Operations

o Cybersecurity

o Database Management Systems

o IT Modernization

o Data Center Operations

o Telecommunications

o Managed Services

o Vendor Enterprise Licensing Programs

o Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA)

Certifications (Strongly Desired):

AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect, or similar.

Networking certifications, such as Cisco CCNP or equivalent.
