Job Description
Technicians at Nordstrom are key to the success of operations that keep merchandise flowing seamlessly to our stores and customers. Supporting our Technology Depot operations, we are seeking a qualified Technician 2 to support users with inquiries involving computer systems, hardware, and software, with a focus on providing excellent service to Nordstrom employees. Standout candidates will be tech savvy with quick analytical and problem-solving skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Candidates must be willing to work onsite 5 days/week at Nordstrom's Credit Headquarters in Centennial, CO to be considered for this position. The scheduled shift will be Monday-Friday from 6am-3pm.

A day in the life...
- Provide quick and effective assistance to users, guiding them in-person through troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Utilize daily work management systems data to prioritize backlog of work and communicate identified issues/changes to leadership
- Protect the Nordstrom brand by ensuring that customer/other protected data and intellectual property is protected, never exposed to external breach or unauthorized access, and all appropriate security controls/practices are implemented.
- Identify why a problem is occurring, analyze the appropriate data and create an effective plan for resolution using technical solutions.
- Perform maintenance activities to help prevent unexpected failures of technical equipment.
- Provision store hardware, repair returned broken Zebra hardware, and ship out new hardware.
- Demonstrate understanding and consistently deliver within the target SLA's for the specific area.
- Demonstrate understanding of Project Management best practices.
You own this if you have...
- A bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
- 3 years' tech support experience
- 3+ years' experience troubleshooting, testing, or repairing technical equipment
- Understanding of Zebra printers, scanners, and handheld devices
- Familiarity/experience working with ServiceNow, Windows 10/11, Dell Desktop/Laptop, iPads, thermal label printers (mobile/desktop), laser printers
- High motivation and self-direction with sound problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read/understand technical documentation and aptitude to learn quickly
- Ability to function well in a fast-changing work environment and manage competing priorities when facing multiple time sensitive issues concurrently
- Ability to repetitively walk, bend, reach, stand, and lift 50lb boxes without difficulty
