Job Description

The Senior Project Manager acts as liaison between Ent business units and the Information Technology (IT) department. This person is responsible for providing business analysis and project management support on an as-needed basis, leading the management of the project lifecycle development process from project initiation to implementation. The Senior Project Manager is also responsible for software testing and quality assurance activities related to the projects and work assigned to him/her. The Senior Project Manager assists with running the IT Change Management process; and assists with maintaining Business Support processes and procedures. The Senior Project Manager works independently on a variety of projects, and demonstrates positive leadership skills. The Senior Project Manager has in-depth experience with and knowledge of Ent's business units and the software systems that support business and member requirements. The Senior Project Manager is expected to have the technical and business knowledge to identify and document functional solutions to complex requirements.

Essential Functions

  • Provide leadership in project management for projects and complex help desk requests at the request of business units or IT. Ensure project management life cycle is followed. Major deliverables: Project Scope Project Charters Project Plan Communication Plans Request for Proposal (RFP)/ Request for Information (RFI) Requirements and/or Specification Documents Risk Plans Project Status Updates Post Mortem Analysis
  • Provide business analysis support to facilitate process re-engineering, create process diagrams and ensure definition of project scope and requirements. Major deliverables: Requirements; Specification Documents; Process Diagrams Contract review when necessary Statement of Work (SOW) review and follow-up when necessary
  • Drive and recommend improvements to Project Management Process and Procedures. Oversee creation of new documents and updates to existing documents.
  • Administrative duties / other duties as assigned: testing, attending seminars and classes; providing written status reports as required; attending staff meetings as required.
  • Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Ent policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.
Qualifications

Minimum Formal Qualifications for this Position

  • Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Finance, or similar related field.
  • 8+ years' of applicable work experience related to project management.
  • 4+ years' experience with project management in a financial institution setting using Scrum methodologies. Preferred


Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement of a bachelor's degree in accounting and 2+ years of account experience could be substituted for a high school diploma and 6 years of relevant accounting work experience or a master's degree in accounting and 0 years of work experience.

Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

  • Demonstrated expertise of various project management and business analysis methodologies, tools and techniques.
  • Demonstrated expertise of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including various development methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, Scrum), and how to apply them for relevant projects.
  • Familiar with all IT functions and services with good working knowledge of more than one technology area. Able to come up to speed quickly in other areas of expertise relevant to the success of the project or program.
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of financial business and functions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in business analysis techniques: process definition, cost/benefit analysis, proposal preparation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in document preparation.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in use of process flow methodology and tools (MicroGraphics, Flow Charter, Visio).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in use of project management tools (MS Project, Workfront, etc.).
  • Knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in use of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
  • (preferred) Proficient with Symitar.


Certifications Required:

  • Driver's license with an acceptable driving record required
  • PMP/PMI-Agile within 1 Year required
  • Scrum Master preferred
  • Industry certifications in QA/Testing preferred

Additional Information

The pay range for this position is: $43 to $57 per Hour (S17)

Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, certifications, and internal pay equity.

This position is eligible for our corporate bonus program based on company performance.
