Project Manager (Non-ITS)
Memphis, TN (onsite)
6 months (should be extended, work orders are issued in six-month increments)
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing various project across the Performance Marketing and Mass Marketing teams. This role involves managing workflows, cross-functional work dependencies, facilitating process adherence and cohesion, managing team and individual accountability, and communicating deliverables and status updates.
Project Planning and Execution:
Manage and oversee multiple projects across Marketing, specifically Email Marketing.
Employ the basic principles of the project management life cycle (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure) to ensure successful project outcomes.
Planning and Prioritization:
Develop clear project goals, scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Foster an iterative and adaptive approach integrating agile and project management principles.
Optimize speed to market delivery and promote continuous feedback and improvement.
Governance and Metrics:
Establish effective governance mechanisms for marketing work.
Define clear roles, responsibilities, and decision-making processes.
Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project progress, quality, and team performance.
Develop and maintain project dashboards, burndown charts, and other visualizations to provide transparency and insights into project status.
Tracking and Reporting:
Develop reporting capabilities and visualizations for SLT and ELT using agile/project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, and Ziflow.
Utilize reporting to manage teamwork, oversee project progress, track tasks, and maintain transparent communication.
Identify roadblocks and proactively address issues, milestones, and dependencies.
Risk and Issue Management:
Analyze, assess, and manage project risks and issues proactively.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
Regularly communicate with stakeholders and senior management.
Required:
3-5 years in Project Management, Operations Management, or a similar role.
Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role, successfully delivering complex projects.
Strong leadership skills and ability to produce in a high-stress environment.
Exemplary verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills across all levels of team and management.
Technical Proficiencies Preferred: Project management software, CRMs, Ticketing systems, Jira, Smartsheets, Ziflow, Confluence, SharePoint, Salesforce
