Desktop Engineer IV - Voice Scope
Stamford, CT (Onsite)
12+Month Contact

Overview:
Provide 1st contact support for desk-end voice-related incidents and requests, with a focus on telephony devices like IPC, Avaya, and Zoom.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct deployment testing of new telephony devices (IPC dealer-board, Avaya handsets, headsets, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot user-related telephony incidents, escalating to 2nd/3rd line teams as needed.
  • Support daily IPC, Avaya, and Zoom-related incidents and requests at users' desks.
  • Coordinate with 2nd/3rd support teams and third parties (e.g., IPC) to log and track incidents.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers and management regarding incident status.
  • Document incident investigations and updates in the incident management system (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Provide support to other engineers and assist during out-of-hours changes or major incidents.

Requirements:

  • Exposure to trade floor support and trader voice telephony, including IPC, Avaya, and Zoom.
  • Understanding of telephony solutions and integrations (e.g., private wires, voice recording).
  • Capable of troubleshooting telephony issues at user desks and escalating as necessary.
  • Familiarity with IT Service Management tools, such as ServiceNow.
