Overview
This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.
Design, develop and maintain automated reports and/or tools. End to end execute and deliver Business Intelligence solutions to business partners and provide subject matter expertise for the specified domain. Engage with stakeholders and partners to execute vision to meet FCB's needs for enterprise business intelligence. Work closely with project managers and business analysts to ensure reporting/data meets or exceeds requirements. Collaborate with partners in Data Architecture and Data Warehousing to drive the ongoing development and delivery of FCB's Enterprise BI strategy. Perform data analysis and interface with offshore reporting to various end-users to lead efforts to ensure end-user requirements are well understood and create specifications for business intelligence solutions. Provide technical leadership to solve complex reporting issues, monitor technology and industry trends for new business intelligence opportunities, continuously improve business intelligence and reporting processes, procedures and workflow, and ensure daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly system operational activities complete successfully and within agreed upon service level agreements. Review statistics, validate or challenge the existing business intelligence solutions and identify areas for process and/or support tool improvements and efficiencies to prepare activity and KPI reports regarding the activities of the Enterprise BI Services team. Participate in continuous department performance improvement activities, such as design reviews, code reviews, audit reviews, change management reviews, and other reviews required to monitor and assess execution versus defined procedures and processes. Load data from multiple sources in database using ETL or custom procedure based on business requests. May work remotely pursuant to First Citizens' Remote Work Guidelines policy. This position is eligible for variable compensation, which may be in the form of incentive, bonus, or commission pay.
Qualifications
Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field plus six (6) years of experience in the job offered or six (6) years of experience as a Software Engineer, Business Intelligence Architect, Technical Lead, or a related occupation.
Position requires six (6) years of experience designing, delivering, and implementing technology-based business intelligence solutions using SAP Business objects, Tableau and other BI tools. Requires extensive experience working on data warehouse initiatives with both relational and non-relational database management systems using databases such as Oracle, Sql Server. Requires experience designing complex dashboards and reports in Tableau and SAP Business objects, including creating the underlying data models and universes. Requires experience in scheduling the SAP Business Objects Reports and Tableau Reports with Inbuilt scheduling tools, Infoburst, batch scripts or similar scheduler tools. Requires experience in programming languages like Python, Unix scripting like similar tools to data load or automate the manual work. Requires experience in Source code management control using SVN or GIT. Requires experience writing SQL statements and PL/SQL code for data validation and data analysis. Requires experience handling complex projects in Data warehousing and business intelligence with SDLC/Agile procedures for systems design, development, verification, and implementation. Requires experience using ETL skills to extract, transform and load data from multiple sources using any ETL tools to store the data into database. Requires experience in working with cloud related technologies like AWS S3, Snowflake database and Power BI. Requires experience in Architectural functional and technical design and review, sizing, scalability, administration. Requires experience in analyzing explain plan and use query optimization techniques to improve the performance of the query. Requires experience creating monitoring dashboards to check the performance of the SAP Business Object, Tableau applications. May work remotely pursuant to First Citizens' Remote Work Guidelines policy.
The base pay for this position is generally between $153,566 and $183,566. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
