Oracle BI/Reporting Consultant

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced BI/Reporting Consultant with a strong background in Oracle Utilities, specifically Oracle Customer Care and Billing (CC&B), to support a major utilities project.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions and custom reports for Oracle CC&B implementations.
• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain reports using tools such as BI Publisher, OBIEE, SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Create and enhance ETL processes using tools like ODI or Talend to extract, transform, and load data from Oracle CC&B and other systems into enterprise data warehouses.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in BI/reporting with 5+ years in Oracle Utilities (CC&B, C2M, or ORMB) projects.
• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, BI Publisher, OBIEE, and ETL tools (ODI, Talend, or similar).
• Proven expertise working with Oracle Utilities Applications Framework (OUAF) and Oracle CC&B Data Models.
• Experience developing regulatory and compliance reports and supporting operational and financial reporting needs.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and reporting best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in large enterprise environments.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Azure DevOps, UC4 Job Scheduling, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Prior experience with ORMB, MDM, or Customer Cloud Service (CCS) is a plus.
• Familiarity with tools like Tableau, Power BI, or SSRS/SSIS is a bonus.
