Job Details
- Review customer drawings and specifications for feasibility.
- Prepare and manage PPAP documents for new products.
- Handle and resolve customer complaints with corrective actions.
- Conduct trend analysis and develop improvement plans.
- Perform Process Capability studies and improve processes.
- Identify and develop gaging needs, ensuring Gage R&R acceptability.
- Conduct Quality Management Systems Audits for ISO 9001 / IATF16949.
- Train QA associates and implement Customer Specific Requirements.
- Travel domestically and internationally as required.
Requirements:
- 2 year or more of Quality or Engineering experience in an automotive manufacturing company.
- Bachelor's degree in Quality or Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Nice to have / NOT REQUIRED: Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 9001 / IATF 16949.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn manufacturing processes.
- Proficient in quality tools (5-Why, 8-D, Fishbone diagram, SPC, R&R).
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
