The Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Data Analyst is responsible for extracting, analyzing, and interpreting data within the Dynamics 365 platform, using this information to generate actionable insights and reports that inform business decisions, often focusing on areas like sales performance, customer behavior, and marketing campaign effectiveness, while utilizing tools like Power BI and SQL to manipulate and visualize the data effectively; key duties include data collection, data cleaning, statistical analysis, report creation, and collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and identify key metrics to track.



Key Responsibilities:Data Extraction and Cleaning:Accessing data from various Dynamics 365 modules (Sales, Marketing, Customer Service)Identifying and addressing data quality issues, including duplicates and inconsistenciesData transformation and manipulation to prepare it for analysisStatistical Analysis:Performing statistical analysis using appropriate techniques to identify trends and patterns within the dataCalculating key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to business objectivesReporting and Visualization:Developing comprehensive reports and dashboards using Power BI or other visualization toolsCreating interactive and user-friendly visualizations to effectively communicate insights to stakeholdersBusiness Insights and Recommendations:Interpreting data analysis results to identify actionable insights and business opportunitiesCommunicating key findings and recommendations to relevant teams to inform decision-makingCollaboration and Stakeholder Management:Working closely with business users to understand their data needs and requirementsGathering feedback on reports and dashboards to ensure alignment with business objectivesData Governance and Maintenance:Ensuring data integrity and compliance with data governance policiesMonitoring data quality and implementing necessary data cleansing procedures



The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics and understanding complex models. In addition, a proven track record of working independently to drive data quality and data normalization is key.



Technical Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI: and managing data visualizations within Power BISQL Querying Skills:Writing complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from Dynamics 365Data Analysis Tools:Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and tools like Excel, R, or PythonDynamics 365 Platform Knowledge:Understanding the structure and functionalities of different Dynamics 365 modules.
