Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll, HR accounting, and managing invoices, timesheets, and balance sheets. This role requires a meticulous approach to financial reporting and a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Payroll Management: Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant legislation. Address payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies.
  2. HR Accounting: Oversee HR-related accounting tasks, including tracking employee benefits, deductions, and reimbursements. Collaborate with the HR department to ensure accurate financial records.
  3. Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and process invoices for payment. Ensure that all invoices are accurate and comply with company policies. Maintain a systematic approach to invoice management.
  4. Timesheet Management: Monitor and verify employee timesheets, ensuring accurate recording of hours worked. Address any discrepancies or issues related to time tracking.
  5. Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Prepare and maintain balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Perform regular reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  6. Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data.
  7. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.

 

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
  3. Strong knowledge of payroll processing, HR accounting, and financial management.
  4. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
  5. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  6. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  8. Well experienced in using cloud-based ADP Payroll and QuickBooks.

 

Preferred Skills:

  1. Experience with specific accounting software, if applicable. Well experienced in ADP Payroll and QuickBooks
  2. Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance.

Knowledge of industry-specific accounting practices, if relevant.
