Senior Project Manager role is focused on a large-scale, multi-year project involving the migration of users to a Microsoft Teams cloud-based voice system. The position is remote, with potential travel as needed. This contract-to-perm position requires a highly experienced Project Manager with a background in managing large, global IT infrastructure projects, particularly those involving voice systems and cloud-based solutions.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: 8+ years as a Project Manager, particularly in global, multi-million-dollar projects.
- Skills: solid organizational, collaboration, and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and communicate effectively with both technical teams and executives.
- Expertise: Proficiency in multiple project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), as well as advanced knowledge of IT infrastructure (Network, App Hosting, End User Services).
- Technical Knowledge: Experience with MS Project, Visio, Teams, and the ability to work on Microsoft Teams-based voice solution migrations is a plus.
- Certifications: PMP or Prince2 certification preferred.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the migration of users from a legacy voice system to Microsoft Teams for 65 locations and 10,000 users.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure on-time delivery, task management, and accountability.
- Create and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets while ensuring quality and business value.
- Oversee project change control, risk mitigation strategies, and effective stakeholder communication.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and reports to provide progress updates to leadership.
Additional Information:
- Bill Rate: $102 - $120/hour.
- Contract to Perm: Only contract-to-perm candidates are being considered.
- No live intake call: The manager will review resumes directly.
- Interview Process: Two rounds of interviews.

responsibilities:
Accountable for completing the delivery of a large, multi-year global project to migrate users from the current corporate voice system to a Microsoft Teams cloud-based solution.
- Scope includes ~65 supply chain and data center locations with 10K users. Activities include user enablement, physical phone deployment and the full decommission of the legacy voice system
- Responsible for partnering with the 3rd party implementation vendor to develop and execute the project plan, work breakdown structure, and identified critical path.
- Coordinate with a 3rd party implementation vendor to deliver tasks and milestones, utilizing resources across both vendor and TJX
- Holds the 3rd party implementation vendor accountable for deliverables and timelines
- Effectively partners and influences with stakeholders and dependent teams
- Leads project and/or program activities and reports on status to ensure the project is completed on time, within approved budget, and provides desired business value.
- Directs and oversees project and/or program team (does not directly manage people).
- Defines project quality and success criteria
- Supervises multiple, concurrent tasks and properly assesses priorities of assigned activities.
- Responsible for timely and effective project communications including stakeholder and sponsor interactions, meeting management, and reporting
- Manages project change control process with project sponsors ensuring any requested changes to scope are reviewed to assess impact on schedule, cost and resources
- Creates strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning
- Prepares materials for project steering committee meetings
- Prepares and presents materials for weekly project leadership meetings.
- Recommends solution approach to projects and/or programs during initialization.
- Prepares and presents key decisions for presentation to leadership
- Makes decisions and recommendations on resource requirements, project schedules, solution options, and project budgets.
- Makes decisions on escalated issues, and further escalates issues as needed
- Accountable for managing within established project financials, and projecting deployment activities to establish the forecasted spend by month.
- Assigns and monitors tasks for project resources
