Georgia-Pacific is currently seeking an Asset Availability Leader to join our team at the Monticello, MS containerboard mill. This position will support the Fiber Area and directly report to the Fiber Area Leader. This position is an opportunity to be part of a stable, rapidly expanding organization that offers a tremendous amount of growth potential.

Monticello, Mississippi, is an hour South of Jackson, MS, and an hour Northwest of Hattiesburg, MS.

What You Will Do

Manage

  • Asset Strategy Development, Optimization, & Execution.
  • Time-Based vs Condition-Based Asset Approach Establishment & Optimization
  • AssetSuite Infrastructure (Model WOs, CATIDs, BOMs, Min/Max Spare Part Quantities)
  • Asset Upgrades to Improve Asset Resiliency & Cost Reduction
  • Asset Criticality Rankings
  • Loss Accounting & Gap Potential Efforts (Continuous Improvement).
  • Siteview & Asset360 Alerts through the Reliability Team.
  • QAQC & QOW Efforts.
  • Equipment Benchmarking.
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Discipline.
  • PM & OBC Strategy & Execution.
  • KCF/SKF Sensors Needs.
  • Post Outage Critiques.


Contribute to
  • Asset Maintenance Work Process Prioritization.
  • T-Minus Outage Planning & Execution.
  • Equipment troubleshooting.
  • Best Practices Adherence
  • Technical support on both capital and non-capital projects
  • Vibrational Analysis of Critical Assets.


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Two or more years in a manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in engineering or related technical field
  • Experience using Microsoft Office software and computer-based maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Experience collecting, assembling, and analyzing data


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Two or more years of reliability or maintenance experience
  • Two of more years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience within a paper/pulp manufacturing operation
  • Experience using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies
  • Experience with Vibrational Tools & Analysis
