Johnson & Johnson Inc. is recruiting for Senior Manager, Q&C Digital Enablement, located in New Brunswick, NJ. Candidates near a Johnson and Johnson office in Switzerland, Belgium, and US will be considered. This position requires up to 10% travel (domestic and internationally).

Enterprise Quality is a comprehensive organization within J&J that focuses on ensuring the highest standards of quality & compliance. It encompasses a Quality Operations division that handles Computer System Validation (CSV), QMS Management, and Commercial Quality Shared Services, including support for Transportation Operations and Temperature Control. Additionally, it includes a Transformation Office dedicated to steering strategic imperatives and improving the Quality & Compliance organization's strategy through initiatives like Data Strategy, Automated Product Release, and Digitalization of Quality Management Systems. To facilitate the deployment of these critical initiatives, the group employs two Deployment Offices for the MedTech and Innovative Medicines segments and maintains a global presence through three regional leaders handling operations in Asia Pacific (ASPAC), Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA), and the Americas. The Transformation Office ensures efficient, measurable, and value-driven execution of the Q&C strategy, transformation portfolio, annual business planning cycles, and operational support for the office of Enterprise Quality VP.

Within the Transformation Office, the Data & Digital Strategy team is developing and driving a comprehensive digital and data strategy to improve quality and compliance, covering areas such as Data Foundations and self-service analytics, AI/ML & IoT technologies, Generative AI, and Digital Assets validation.

The Senior Manager, Q&C Digital Enablement is responsible for improving Q&C's digital maturity by integrating innovative digital capabilities into our Q&C framework and strategy. This role will lead a team of experts in AI/ML, generative AI, intelligent automation, etc. in the assessment and development of digital capabilities that transform Q&C business processes and respective systems. Further, this role will be instrumental in creating and realizing our vision for the digital quality worker of the future, by driving maturity in the utility and use of emerging technologies and their adoption by our Q&C community and with our partners.
  • Define and execute the strategy for meeting the growing demand for AI, generative AI, intelligent automation, and other emerging technologies within Q&C
  • Identify and implement use cases that create real, measurable value for Q&C, within and across segments, in partnership with R&D, Supply Chain and TO&R
  • Drive execution of efforts to explore, build and mature Q&Cs digital capabilities, ensuring leverage and scale of technologies and solutions
  • Work across boundaries to ensure we are driving toward a more integrated, digitally-native way of working that reduces friction for our Q&C community and with our partners
  • Strengthen the integration between data and digital teams to form a cohesive strategy where data is ready for AI, and AI makes the most use of our data
  • Build predictive, recommendation, and/or LLM-based models that are accurate, robust, and informative
  • Educate our community on the art of the possible, and how emerging technologies can help Q&C generate insights, manage risk and gain efficiencies
  • Manage and allocate resources effectively, ensuring the team has the necessary tools and support to deliver high-quality solutions, and by providing mentorship and guidance

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant working experience
  • A minimum of 3 years in the application of AI/ML, generative AI, intelligent automation, and/or NLP technologies
  • Experience in a regulated industry in supply chain, operations, Quality, Information Technology or R&D function
  • Knowledge of GxP regulations, including computer system validation, data integrity and medical device regulations
  • Strategic thinking, visionary and foresight to conceptualize new solutions that address core business objectives
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Project management experience

  • Ability to handle complexity and ambiguity

Preferred:
  • Master's degree in relevant field of study
  • Experience in Information Technology
  • Cross-sector experience in MedTech and Innovative Medicines.
  • Working knowledge of PMO, SDLC, GAMP 5, and ITIL frameworks
  • Experience in establishing metrics and scorecards to monitor progress against Strategic Plans
  • Experience in partnering with external environment to consider future strategies in a healthcare environment, while adhering to the prevailing regulations or influencing their evolution in a health care industry


The anticipated base pay range for this position is 118000 to 203550.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
