Work Location: Canada (100% Remote)
Position Type: Contract

Job Description :
  • We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 FinOps) Functional Consultant with expertise in manufacturing or sourcing/procurement.
  • The ideal candidate should have 5-8 years of experience, be capable of working independently, and have strong skills in configuration, administration, and support of D365 FinOps.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and maintain D365 FinOps modules, specifically Manufacturing, Procurement & Sourcing, and related Finance functions.
  • Manage system settings, workflows, and user security roles.
  • Ensure system integrity and compliance with business processes.
  • Business Process Analysis & Implementation:
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into D365 FinOps configurations.
  • Optimize business processes using best practices in manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Provide L2/L3 support for functional issues in D365 FinOps.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system and configuration-related issues.
  • Collaborate with technical teams for issue resolution and customization needs.
  • Develop and execute test cases for new implementations, updates, and enhancements.
  • Conduct user training and create documentation for business users.
  • Lead or participate in D365 implementation, upgrades, and rollouts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, Procurement, and Operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5-8 years of experience in D365 Finance & Operations (or AX 2012).
  • Strong knowledge in at least one of the following modules: Manufacturing or Procurement & Sourcing.
  • Hands-on experience in system configuration, administration, and support.
  • Ability to work independently, manage tasks, and drive initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of business processes related to manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain.
  • Experience in user training, documentation, and system troubleshooting.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • D365 FinOps certification in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Finance.
  • Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, or other Microsoft ecosystem tools.
  • Understanding of integrations with third-party tools and ERP extensions
