Day in the Life of a Mechanical Engineer
We are looking for inquisitive and driven engineers with a passion to solve difficult problems. From tiltrotor technology to modular complex electronics systems, our engineers support all lifecycles across a wide portfolio of aircraft programs and functions, to bring vertical lift solutions to our customers. We have numerous opportunities available, from designing detail parts, analyzing components and systems, to coupon, component, and system level testing, and production and fleet support. At Bell you will have the opportunity to combine your passion and knowledge to solve some of the worlds most difficult challenges required to bring rotorcraft products to market. What You Will Need to be Successful
- A Bachelor's degree or higher with a major in Mechanical Engineering required
- Other technical engineering degrees will be considered
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Available to work full time, onsite, starting in July 2025
What Will Make You Stand Out
- Graduating in Spring of 2025
- Exposure to CATIA / advanced CAD systems, component design experience.
- Exposure to advanced analysis tools, ANSYS, NASTRAN, component analysis experience.
- Familiarity with defining and interpreting GD&T.
- Familiarity with Systems Engineering processes, from requirements through verification.
- System integration experience, integrating complex systems, including sensors, components, complex electronic hardware, and software.
- Lab experience with mechanical and/or materials testing at a coupon or component level.
- H ands on club experience working with a team to design, build, and test a complex vehicle to specific requirements and specifications.
