About This Opportunity:

Ericsson Radio and Baseband Products have our ASICs as their backbone, and our challenge is to craft and deliver these ASICs so that our 5G leadership position in the market accelerates. Our ASICS are challenging when the combination of size/complexity, power, performance targets, leading process node technology, and innovative design methodologies are considered. We are seeking a Debug Architect to join us and be a part of a new ASIC test team. This role will be integral to this test team and will be instrumental in all aspects of test strategy and silicon debug. Your efforts will ensure that the final ASIC achieves the program goals as we challenge the best in the world to extend our leadership position!

You will:
  • Analyze customer returns to understand failure modes and guide engineering teams on experiments to determine root causes.
  • Collaborate with pre-silicon, post-silicon, and software teams to address issues in current generation ASICs.
  • Develop and propose design-for-debug architectures for future ASIC generations.
  • Work on different stakeholders on architecting Multichip packaging debug features.
  • Conduct pre-silicon and post-silicon silicon-life-cycle (SLM) data analysis.
  • Propose improvements for Defects Per Million (DPPM).
  • Advocate for and promote design-for-debug practices within the silicon organization.
  • Propose debug methodologies and tools to improve debug cycle time.

What You Will Bring:
  • Extensive experience in DFX Architecture, including implementation trade-offs, pre-silicon validation, and post-silicon validation.
  • Proficiency in IC test methodologies, including scan, array testing, system-based debug, and tester-based debug methodologies.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with a proven ability to work with multiple teams and build relationships for faster project execution.


Base Pay Range: $150,400 to $225,600
