Description: Our client is currently seeking a Solution Consultant

About the Role: We are seeking a Solutions Consultant to join our Financial Advisor Services (FAS) Technology team, focusing on trading and operations functions. This role combines the responsibilities of a Product Manager and Product Architect. The ideal candidate will understand business problems and leverage their technology design skills to recommend effective solutions. Experience in Trading, Operations, Sales, and Personalized Indexing is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Trading Modernization program, including Account Onboarding, Transfer Agency integrations, cash flow management, Portfolio Accounting, and Performance/NAV calculations.
  • Build productive working relationships with key partners to ensure recommendations and priorities are understood by all impacted parties.
  • Leverage influencing and negotiation skills to champion optimal solutions and advocate for change to introduce new technologies and processes.
  • Translate business problems into strategic and cost-effective technology solutions.
  • Research emerging technologies and apply them to business problems.
  • Create blueprint capabilities for software, middleware, and hardware deliverables, ensuring compliance with IT policies and procedures.
  • Partner with business and IT leaders to align business initiatives, priorities, and schedules based on strategic business and IT plans.
  • Influence the organization by leveraging knowledge of existing technology solutions and researching new options.
  • Manage the capability landscape for one or more lines of business and its product owners as the business and industry evolve.
  • Develop deep knowledge of the business area(s) supported and the competitive landscape to provide context for decision-making.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of business functions and combine technical and functional knowledge to produce highly functional solutions.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of eight years of related work experience, with at least three years of development experience.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
  • Prior experience in a financial services firm, preferably in investment management.
  • Program Management and Solution Discovery experience
