U.S. Bank is seeking a full-time UX Design Researcher (Multiple openings) in Cupertino, CA.

Essential Responsibilities:

The UX Design Researcher will support U.S. Bank's business transformation to a human-centric experience and bring digital experiences to U.S. Bank customers. Specific job duties include the following:
  • Conduct and deliver UX Design research work that meets or exceeds the stated business goals, and which is clearly and objectively measured and reported to prove U.S. Bank's return on design investment.
  • Lead and craft UX Design research to ensure excellence in research, facilitation, artifacts, presentation skills, and distilling actionable insights for partners; and manage research projects and gather research requests with Jira and maintain research repositories with Confluence.
  • Partner effectively with other UX Design disciplines, business line clients, product and channel management, marketing, analytics, delivery PMO, Information Technology and other teams to strengthen relationships and understand the business while delivering solid research.
  • Derive measurable objectives against which UX research work will be evaluated for success.
  • Craft objective questions for surveys and interviews to derive meaningful feedback.
  • Deliver impactful and clear UX design research in a way that drives and directs better product and project outcomes and run moderated and unmoderated qualitative research, doing surveys and Card sorting using User Zoom.
  • Use Qualtrics to run large data surveys and do research analysis.
  • Work with Mural and Miro to prioritize research; facilitate virtual collaboration between cross-functional teams; and to facilitate design thinking sessions.

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires a Master's degree or equivalent in User Experience, Design Research, Psychology, Applied Cognition and Neuroscience and 2 years of user experience (UX) design research experience.

Required Skills/Experience:
Must also have 24 months of experience with each of the following: 1) Running moderated and unmoderated qualitative research, doing surveys and Card sorting using User Zoom. 2) Using Qualtrics to run large data surveys and do research analysis. 3) Managing research projects and gathering research requests with Jira and maintain research repositories with Confluence. 4) Working with Mural and Miro to prioritize research; facilitate virtual collaboration between cross-functional teams; and to facilitate design thinking sessions. 5) Collaborating across multiple multifunctional teams to develop research and product development strategies. 6) Learning highly complex user processes to facilitate research sessions. Will accept experience gained before, during or after Master's program.
