Business Analyst, along with Benchling product knowledge. Candidate should have knowledge in Bio Science, worked in Drug Discovery and Research domain and should be able to convert the scientists requirement to product requirements. Candidate should be available at client office to collaborate with end users and collate all the requirements. Candidate should be good in creating product documentation and able to train the users on the Benchling product. Job Description (added on 11.5): Cognizant is seeking a highly motivated Scientific Business Analyst to join our Biologic Therapeutic Discovery Client team. Therapeutic Discovery partners closely with a talented Research & Development Informatics team to develop advanced data systems that enable high throughput discovery and optimization of therapeutic molecules in the early research stage of development. This role would provide in person guidance for processes in the capture experimental data. The role would require full time onsite work to assist scientists in real-time data collection and to collaborate on developing streamlined processes for system data entry in Benchling. Primary responsibilities:
Partner closely with Research & Development Informatics teams and bench scientists to create and document business rules for high-quality data capture solutions in Benchling and provide real-time support for common data entry processes.
Develop a process to track data quality and analyze metrics on data entry accountability.
Work on site with users to identify potential pain points for data entry and work with support team to develop longer term solutions.
Test newly developed features before deployment to end users in Benchling.
Create and maintain documentation for user guides, FAQs, and data entry best practices in Benchling. Basic Qualifications:
Master s degree in life sciences, computer science or engineering or
Bachelor s degree & 2 years of Data Analyst experience or
Associate s degree & 4 years of Data Analyst experience or
High school diploma/GED & 6 years of Data Analyst experience
Experienced in using Benchling in the bio-pharmaceutical industry.
Strong understanding of scientific processes on data collection hierarchy, analysis and reporting experience using Benchling or other LIMS.
Scientific domain knowledge or experience in Biological Sciences, drug discovery and development.
Self-motivated individual with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in teams.
Strong written and oral communication skills. Outstanding attention to detail for documentation.
Strong people skills to adapt different client team needs in data processing. Client facing interaction for problem solving a plus. Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in navigating different scientific data systems such as Benchling, LIMS, Geneious, Genedata Screener, Spotfire, Tableau, or Dash.
Experience working in an Agile SCRUM environment
