Zurich's Complete-a-Bachelor's Apprenticeship is accepting applications for our January 2025 Cohort!

Our innovative Complete-a-Bachelor's Apprenticeship allows participants to simultaneously gain the education and the experience to launch a rewarding career in commercial insurance.

If you have two or more years of college coursework from an accredited U.S. college or university (an associate degree or rising junior) this is an exciting way to begin your career with a global industry leader and complete your degree tuition-free!

This two-year program combines coursework through University of Arizona Global Campus (UAGC), an accredited online university affiliated with the University of Arizona, with relevant work experience and professional development at North American Headquarters in Schaumburg, IL. There is an additional and separate process of applying for admission to UAGC.

Apprentices who successfully complete this two-year program will:

  • Work in a paid, benefit-eligible full-time position at Zurich
  • Earn a tuition-free Bachelor's degree in Information Technology
  • Receive a Department of Labor Certificate of Apprenticeship
  • Be promoted into their next role at Zurich

Zurich North America is offering Complete-a-Bachelor's Apprenticeship opportunities in End User Technology Team out of our North America Headquarter office, Schaumburg, IL.

As an apprentice at Zurich, you will work and learn alongside professionals and mentors while performing assigned tasks, contributing to team projects and initiatives, and providing support to colleagues.

In the End User Technology (EUT) role your responsibilities will include:
  • Support laptop setup and software configuration
  • Developing understanding of IT technologies and landscapes
  • Collaborates with other business functions and third party suppliers as relevant to role.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree in Information Technology or rising Junior with two years of coursework in Information Technology area and no prior years of experience in the Information Technology area. Contingent on admittance into University of Arizona Global Campus Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology program.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • IT related certifications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • 2 or more years of work experience and/or leadership role in student activities or community service activities
  • Intermediate computer skills, especially Excel
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to a changing environment
  • Problem solving skills
