Summary

Looking for Sr Data Analyst / Tech leads to support teams in US and Nepal. This position is responsible for analyzing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines into an industry-leading analytics platform. This position requires individuals who will provide leadership and guidance and strategic insights. This role is an excellent opportunity for a senior analyst who wants to take the next step to management by moving from an individual contributing data analyst to a leader within a team.

Primary skills: Healthcare (payor or provider), Cloud, Big Data

Healthcare Industry Knowledge - ( Healthcare Data Standards Understanding of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, LOINC, SNOMED coding systems.)

Electronic Health Records (EHRs) Experience with Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or other EHR platforms

HIPAA & Data Privacy Familiarity with healthcare data compliance, including HIPAA, GDPR, and HITECH Act.

Claims & Billing Data Experience analyzing claims from Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurers.

Agile / Scrum

Data Analytics & Statistics Experience

o SQL & Databases Experience writing queries to extract and manipulate data from SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle databases.

o Excel & Spreadsheets Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, tables and charts )

Preferred:

10+ years of experience performing analysis on healthcare data

Experience with Snowflake

Prior Experience Working with Offshore Teams a Plus

Team leadership experience

Roles & Responsibilities

Work to manage an offshore team of Healthcare Data Analysts and QA engineers under the Director of Data Management direction.

Engage with multiple Client facing teams and inter and intra departmental teams to solve complex healthcare problems.

Tasks include (but are not limited to): attend client meetings as the healthcare data subject matter expert, review sprint plans, manage the sprints, review and provide analysis of client data, resolve data issues and provide input into the overall data process.

Assume primary responsibility for communication and resolution of client technical issues.

Instruct the Data Operations team on correctly interpreting customer business needs and translating them into the application and operational requirements.

Act as a process champion, utilizing in-depth knowledge of organization policies and operations processes.

Ensure modules in the product meet the functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications through ongoing performance monitoring of team members.

Required Experience / Qualifications

Bachelor s Degree or equivalent industry experience

7+ years of experience performing analysis on healthcare data

Clinical Knowledge on various Healthcare Data listed above

Advanced skillset with SQL for data analysis and reporting

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferences Not Required

10+ years of experience performing analysis on healthcare data

Experience with Snowflake

Prior Experience Working with Offshore Teams a Plus

Team leadership experience
