Security Clearance: DOD Secret (Fully Adjudicated), as a minimum

Citizenship: US

Required Certifications:

Security+ (Or equivalent IA cert) and computing environment certification (i.e. Amazon Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc. strongly preferred)

Job Responsibilities:

This is a managed service provider (MSP) for Army IT systems, and we support enterprise applications owners in migrating their systems into AWS and also provide sustainment services to support their applications. This position is for an administrator to support these applications from a migration, modernization, and sustainment role.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Deploy and sustain cloud infrastructure to support customer applications.
  • Provide daily administration of the Citrix Infrastructure.
  • Harden the Citrix based services per commercial best practices and the required government cybersecurity controls.
  • Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of any Citrix issues within the AWS environment
  • Coordinate and perform major version upgrades of Citrix Software.
  • Develop and maintain system, infrastructure, and process documentation (system diagrams, network topology, software configurations, device configurations, standard operating procedures).
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for deployment and sustainment of Citrix based services
  • Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of customer application issues to include network, storage, operating system, and application-level analysis.
  • Amazon AWS Portal administration in support of the cloud customers add/modify/delete AWS resources, configuration of alerting and notifications, and general oversight of AWS resources.
  • Provide on-call support for triage and resolution of after-hours production incidents.
  • Make recommendations for improvements to security, scalability, manageability, and performance across a wide variety of network, storage, and compute services and technologies.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate
    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate

    • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional
    • Any of the AWS Specialty Certifications
    • Relevant computing environment certification (i.e. CCA-V, CCA-P, etc.)
  • Senior level Cloud Engineer experience IaaS required, some PaaS experience preferred
  • Baseline knowledge of networking concepts (routing, firewall, load balancing) required; Knowledge of server technologies and application stacks preferred
  • Knowledge of Amazon AWS cloud resources
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience effectively managing multiple large-scale projects in a fast paced environment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across the entire technology stack network, storage, server, and applications
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (Ansible, Terraform, Python, PowerShell, Bash, Puppet, Chef, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of DoD STIGs, and IA Vulnerability Management (IAVM) preferred

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • 3-5 years of experience in cloud security engineering, with a focus on RHEL and SAP environments
  • Expertise in building and maintaining RHEL images, specifically for SAP applications
  • 3+ years of experience with developing cloud system requirements (AWS and Azure) and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and Ansible
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (GitLab, Jenkins)
  • In-depth understanding of security practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security (NIST and CIS Security frameworks)
  • Experience with STIGs and their application in securing systems
  • Experience in using Nessus for vulnerability scanning and remediation
