Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced o9 Solutions Functional Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring and implementing o9 Solutions cloud-based platform for enterprise-level clients, with a focus on business planning, supply chain optimization, demand planning, and analytics. You will collaborate with clients to gather requirements, provide insights, configure the solution to meet their needs, and ensure the successful deployment of o9 solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement & Requirement Gathering:
- Work closely with business stakeholders and key users to understand their business processes and requirements in areas such as demand planning, supply chain management, financial planning, and integrated business planning (IBP).
- Conduct workshops, interviews, and business requirement sessions to identify client needs and develop solution roadmaps.
- Map business processes to o9 Solutions capabilities, identifying opportunities for process improvements and optimization.
- Solution Configuration & Implementation:
- Lead the configuration of o9 Solutions modules based on business requirements, ensuring that the system meets client needs while adhering to best practices.
- Configure core functionalities, including demand forecasting, inventory optimization, supply planning, production planning, and sales and operations planning (S&OP).
- Set up data integration between o9 Solutions and other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, legacy systems) to ensure smooth data flow.
- Perform system testing, data validation, and ensure that the solution is fully aligned with client expectations.
- Solution Optimization & Customization:
- Use o9 s advanced analytics and AI capabilities to optimize client-specific workflows, such as demand sensing, forecast accuracy, and inventory management.
- Implement custom features and enhancements using o9 s platform configuration tools.
- Provide recommendations for performance improvements and operational efficiencies based on the analysis of system data.
- User Training & Knowledge Transfer:
- Provide training and hands-on support to client teams, ensuring that users are proficient in utilizing o9 s platform for their business processes.
- Develop comprehensive user documentation, guides, and training materials for end users and system administrators.
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to empower clients to manage their o9 Solutions environment independently.
- Go-Live Support & Post-Implementation:
- Lead the go-live activities, ensuring smooth system deployment and user adoption.
- Provide ongoing post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution during the stabilization phase.
- Monitor system performance and assist in fine-tuning configurations for optimal performance.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
- Stay up-to-date on new features, functionalities, and best practices within the o9 Solutions platform.
- Provide proactive recommendations to clients on how to leverage the latest platform enhancements.
- Continuously assess client systems to identify opportunities for additional value-added services and capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in implementing and configuring o9 Solutions or similar Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and Supply Chain platforms (e.g., SAP IBP, Oracle Cloud SCM, Kinaxis RapidResponse).
- Hands-on experience with o9 Solutions modules, including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, S&OP, and Financial Planning.
- Familiarity with AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics in the context of supply chain and business planning solutions.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of business processes in areas such as supply chain, demand forecasting, S&OP, and financial planning.
- Proficiency in data integration and working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud solutions and web-based applications.
- Experience with data modeling, business rules configuration, and workflow automation within o9 or similar platforms.
- Technical Skills:
- Experience with data analytics and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools.
- Ability to understand and work with APIs and integration tools for data exchange between o9 and external systems.
- Experience in configuring business rules, workflows, and analytics within the platform.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to design effective solutions based on client needs.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
