Description
Financial Services firm located in Mansfield, MA is looking for a highly technical Business Systems Analyst with strong SQL and T-SQL skills.
Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance internal applications using SQL and T-SQL
Collaborate closely with users to understand their needs and translate these into technical requirements
Maintain and perform necessary updates on existing applications
Utilize your skills in API development to improve the functionality of our systems
Work on enhancement projects, improving applications based on user feedback
Analyze and solve complex problems related to the applications
Understand business processes and requirements to design effective solutions
Work on application servicing and maintenance tasks
Translate business requirements into SQL queries and scripts
Collaborate with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of our systems.
Requirements
Proficient in SQL and T-SQL - Transact-SQL.
Experience with API Development.
Understanding of Insurance - Casualty Industry.
Strong analytical skills to evaluate business needs and provide effective solutions.
Ability to translate business requirements into system requirements.
Excellent communication skills to interact with different stakeholders.
Ability to work in a team and independently.
Strong problem-solving skills to address system issues.
Experience in project management methodologies.
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferable.
Familiarity with data modeling and design patterns.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Willingness to stay updated with the latest technological trends.
