Position: CNC Programmer

Location: Lafayette, IN 47905 (Onsite)

Duration: Long Term

Mandatory skills and requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Expertise in CNC program generation using UG NX or Creo and verification using Vericut software.
• Initial job preparation/setup for program generation.
• Good knowledge in selection of various tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, and inserts used on various machines.
• Strong knowledge on drawing standards and GD&T.
• Good communication skills.

Detailed Job Description:

• Experience in CNC Programming for structural components.
• Optimizing the existing CNC program for 3 axes to 5 axes.
• Tool path simulation, verification/validation.
• Creating setup/shop floor documentations.
• Revise and update programs and documents based on FAI reports and engineering changes.
• Shop floor support during tryout.

Skill Set

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing NC programming for machining centers, ensuring precision and efficiency in CNC operations
