About the Role:

As an Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) Technical Lead you will Provide technical and administrative oversight to the Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) activities in support of delivering safety system software certified for use in nuclear power plants.

You will report to the Manager, IV&V and work hybrid out of the Cranberry Township, PA office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the IV&V schedule, budget, and task assignments.
  • Work with the program managers and provide IV&V input and status.
  • Mentor and oversee IV&V Engineers in matters related to the IV&V process and their work products.
  • Support IV&V Manager with continuous improvement initiatives related to the IV&V operation, tasks, tools and methods.
  • Ensure execution of IV&V scope of work with required safety, quality, and compliance criteria.
  • Create V&V Plans, verification reports, test reports, and summary reports.
  • Represent IV&V before internal quality audits or external regulatory inspections.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 8 years of related work experience (preferably in regulated industries)
  • Minimum of BS degree in Engineering or related field
  • Working knowledge of software development preferably using C/C++
  • Working knowledge of V&V standards and regulations
  • Project Management skills are required (schedule, budget, risk)
