Job Details
Job Title: OpenShift Administrator
Certifications Required:
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
Duration: up to 3 months contract (with the possibility of extension)
Location: Remote Work / Work from Home
Work Schedule: 4/10 Schedule
Pay Rate: $96/hr on W2

Skills Required:
- Understanding of OpenShift architecture, including masters, nodes, and etcd.
- Proficiency in using the OpenShift CLI (oc) to manage and troubleshoot OpenShift clusters.
- Familiarity with the OpenShift web console and its features.
- Understanding of how to create, manage, and scale projects and applications in OpenShift.
- Knowledge of how to manage container images, including building, pushing, and pulling images.
- Understanding of containerization concepts, including Docker, and container orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in Linux operating systems, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or similar distributions.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing.
- Understanding of security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, including log analysis, debugging, and problem-solving.
- Understanding of Kubernetes concepts, including pods, services, deployments, and persistent volumes.
- Proficiency in using the Kubernetes CLI (kubectl) to manage and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes networking concepts, including services, endpoints, and network policies.
- Linux Administration, scripting, python, infrastructure support and problem solving/trouble shooting experience, orchestration tools(ansible)
